First time blogger

I've done it - created my own blog. I've entered cyber space. A place where everyone is welcome and no one is alone. Or so I'm told. Will I survive? Who makes the rules? Are there winners and losers in blogger-ville? Clearly there are. There are the blogs we constantly visit, hungry for new posts, new insights into the lives of our new found cyber-aquaintances. And then there are those that we barely notice.

Maybe a blog is a place we go to reflect on our own thoughts and experiences. A place to recap the days events, the opportunities missed, the insults endured, the infinite tedium that lies ahead and the trail of disappointments lining the road from the past. On a different day, a place to contemplate a perfectly ordinary day adorned by a single act of friendship or a tantalizing ray of hope.
